Sprint Says They Love Me

"We love you, and to say thanks for spending time with us, you qualified on 08/01/10 to save $150."

The thing is, I've danced this dance with Sprint before. It doesn't realize it, but I'm on to its game. I'd be a fool to trust Sprint now - in six months it'll be up to its old shenanigans again. I'd be left broke, lied to, and without a decent WebOS phone.

Things haven't exactly worked out yet with Verizon either. That all depends on what it decides to do about the Pre 2. Until then, I won't be exclusive.

If everything goes according to plan, I'll be getting a little action from both of them. I'm taking the comm board from a Sprint Pre and combining it with the [everything but the comm board] from a Verizon Pre Plus. I'll activate it on Sprint, but it will look and act more like the Verizon phone.

All I have to do is make sure they don't find out about each other, and I can have my cake and eat it too.
